- Waktu awal-awal gabung di Jhonny & Association sempat pengen keluar, tapi tidak jadi karena di iming-imingi akan dibelikan sepatu bola baru sama ibunya.
- Yabu merupakan anggota tertua dan dia juga Leader dari Hey!Say!JUMP. Dia juga merupakan figure seorang kakak di grup tersebut
- Di acara Shonen Club (TV show paling popular untuk Jhonny’s Junior) lebih dari 100 dari Jhonny’s Junior tampil tapi dia yang paling banyak tampil. Bahkan para seniornya seperti NEWS, KAT-TUN dan grup Jhonny’s Junior yang lain menjadi Back Dancer-nya Yabu.
- Dia mempunyai skill dance yang paling baik dan high pitched voice yang membuat dia menjadi Top member di Jhonny’s Junior.(2001 mpe 2004)
- Di tahun 2007 dia menjadi anggota dari Hey! Say! JUMP – Dia nge-fans dengan Johnny Depp – Ingin pergi ke Eropa dan Spanyol
